How does it work?

1

Upload your photos

Front, back, right and left side. The on-screen framing guide shows the correct distance and the vertical reference line; a front view plus one side view is the minimum.

2

Measurement and rule engine

Pose detection extracts the anatomical landmarks, and the measured angles are compared against thresholds drawn from the literature.

3

Report and exercise prescription

Findings are reported with risk levels, and a personalised exercise programme is prepared, scaled to your fitness level.

Objective measurement

Numbers, not opinions

Every finding is shown with an angle value and the threshold it was compared against. Instead of subjective phrases like "your posture is bad", you get concrete data you can discuss with your physiotherapist.

Transparent rule engine

Measuring and interpreting are separate layers

Findings are classified as low, moderate or high risk against thresholds drawn from the literature. This is a mathematical, measured analysis — not a subjective judgement.

Privacy first

Your photos never leave your device 🔒

Pose detection runs entirely in your browser; your photos are never uploaded to any server, never stored, and are cleared from memory when the session ends. The analysis begins only with your explicit consent under KVKK.

Findings turn into exercises automatically

Every finding detected is matched to exercises ordered by phase. Each movement carries a set-and-rep recommendation and a live preview showing how it is performed, with the difficulty scaled to you.

Frequently asked questions

Does FizyoAnaliz make a diagnosis?

No. FizyoAnaliz is not a medical diagnostic tool; it produces a photo-based biomechanical pre-assessment only. Reports use the language of "the findings may be consistent with …". A definitive diagnosis and treatment decision requires examination by a doctor or physiotherapist.

Where are my photos uploaded?

Nowhere. Pose detection runs entirely in your browser; your photos are never uploaded to a server and are cleared from memory when the session ends. At the consent step shown after you select your photos, no measurement takes place unless you accept the KVKK privacy notice. Google Analytics, used for visitor statistics, loads only if you accept the cookie notice; photo and measurement data are never sent to analytics under any circumstances. Details: privacy and KVKK notice.

How many photos do I need?

One front view and one side view are enough for an analysis. Adding the back view and the opposite side broadens the scope of the report and lets more findings be assessed.

How reliable are the results?

Accuracy depends largely on photo quality: a steady camera, a plain background, close-fitting clothing and correct framing all matter. Every measurement is shown with a confidence score, and if quality is low the system suggests retaking the photo.

Is the posture analysis free?

Yes. FizyoAnaliz measures and helps — it never asks for money. The online posture analysis, the posture report and the personalised exercise programme are all completely free; no account and no card details are required.

Can poor posture be corrected with exercise?

Most functional postural problems caused by muscle imbalance — forward head posture, rounded shoulders, mild kyphosis — respond well to regular stretching and strengthening exercises and ergonomic changes. Structural conditions (e.g. scoliosis) always require specialist assessment.

Is a phone camera good enough for posture analysis?

Yes. Current smartphone cameras are more than adequate for pose detection. What matters is that the phone rests against a steady surface, sits at chest height and is 2–2.5 metres away; the on-screen framing guide will walk you through it.

Which postural problems can be detected?

Forward head posture (text neck), shoulder height asymmetry, pelvic tilt, lateral head tilt, forward trunk lean and simultaneous asymmetry across several segments (a referral flag for suspected scoliosis) are assessed. Upper and Lower Crossed Syndrome patterns are also synthesised from combinations of findings.

How is this different from a posture analysis device?

Clinical posture analysis devices (3D surface topography, pressure platforms, marker-based systems) provide calibrated measurement supervised by a specialist. FizyoAnaliz is a free pre-assessment that performs the same core static measurements — shoulder, hip and head alignment — in degrees from phone photos, with no device and no appointment. The two complement each other; if there is a marked finding or pain, a clinical assessment is recommended. For a detailed comparison, see our article on posture analysis devices.

One of my shoulders is lower than the other — is that normal?

A small difference in shoulder height (roughly 1 cm, or under 1–2 degrees) is very common and considered normal; most people have one because of hand dominance. Assessment by a physiotherapist or doctor is needed if the difference is clearly visible, if it is accompanied by pain, if one side of the back forms a hump when you bend forward, or if the difference is increasing quickly. For details, see our article on shoulder asymmetry.

How long does shoulder asymmetry take to improve?

Where shoulder asymmetry stems from muscle imbalance, the first noticeable relief comes at 4–6 weeks and measurable improvement at 8–12 weeks of a regular stretching and strengthening programme. Where the cause is structural — scoliosis or a leg length difference — the goal is not to erase the difference but to reduce pain and stop it progressing.

How many minutes a day should posture correction exercises take?

For most people 12–15 minutes a day, 5 days a week is enough. Consistency beats longer sessions: stretching and strengthening should be done together, with short movement breaks scattered through the day. For a week-by-week plan, see our 4-week posture programme.

How many weeks does it take to correct poor posture?

With functional (muscle-driven) postural problems, relief from tightness and fatigue usually begins within 2–4 weeks, while a change in angle that is measurable on a photo becomes clear at 8–12 weeks. The timeline varies with age, daily sitting time, the severity of the problem and how consistently you follow the programme.

How can I book a physiotherapist to come to my home?

In the Find a Physiotherapist section of FizyoAnaliz you can select your city and the speciality that matches your needs to see listings from physiotherapists offering home visits. Each listing shows their specialities, the university they graduated from, their years of experience and the institutions they have worked at. You contact the physiotherapist directly; FizyoAnaliz is not an intermediary and takes no commission.

What should I look for when choosing a home physiotherapist?

The title of physiotherapist belongs to people who have completed a four-year university degree in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation; asking to see that degree at the first meeting is entirely normal. Check that their speciality matches your problem and that treatment always begins with an assessment. Masseur titles or short certificate courses are not a substitute for a physiotherapist. For details, see our home physiotherapy guide.

Is it paid for a physiotherapist to post a listing?

No — posting a listing is free for physiotherapists and no commission is taken. You can add the cities and districts you can travel to, your specialities, the university you graduated from, your years of experience, the institutions you have worked at and your own photo. Your degree must be verified before the listing can be published publicly.

For a good photo

  • Keep the camera steady at chest height, 2–2.5 metres away
  • Choose close-fitting, plain-coloured clothing
  • Keep head, shoulders, hips, knees and ankles inside the frame
  • Use a plain background with even, adequate lighting and no shadows
  • The dashed lines in each box are the vertical reference and the target shoulder and hip alignment — centre your body against them

Problem Muscle / Tendon → Home Exercise

Search the anatomical library for the muscles and tendons your physiotherapist or doctor flagged; for each structure the movements that can be done at home are listed with set-and-rep recommendations and a movement preview. The library covers every major muscle, tendon and fascia from the head and jaw down to the intrinsic muscles of the foot, and you can search by Latin name too.

Important: These suggestions are general and do not replace the programme your physiotherapist gave you. Stop if pain during a movement goes above 3–4 out of 10. With an acute injury, in the period after surgery, or with a diagnosed serious condition, do only the exercises your specialist has prescribed.
Select the structures your physiotherapist identified.

Frequently Asked Questions About Home Physiotherapy

How do I arrange a physiotherapist home visit?

You select your city and the speciality that matches your needs in the filter, compare the listings and contact the physiotherapist you prefer directly. FizyoAnaliz is not an intermediary: the appointment, session fee and programme are agreed directly between you and the physiotherapist. Asking to see their degree certificate at the first meeting is normal and recommended.

What should you watch out for when you need a physiotherapist?

Check three things: that the person holds a four-year Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation degree, that their speciality matches your problem, and that treatment begins with an assessment. Titles such as "masseur" or "manual therapist", or short certificate courses, are not a substitute for a physiotherapist. Do not work with anyone who starts treatment without an assessment or who promises to "fix it in one session".

When is home physiotherapy not appropriate?

Treatments requiring heavy equipment, hydrotherapy and some advanced electrotherapy methods cannot be delivered at home. In addition, if there is fever, unexplained weight loss, night pain that rest does not relieve, progressive loss of strength or loss of bladder or bowel control, a medical assessment is needed before physiotherapy. In those cases diagnosis comes first, rehabilitation second.

Does FizyoAnaliz provide physiotherapy services?

No. FizyoAnaliz is a listing and directory service; it does not provide physiotherapy, does not employ physiotherapists and is not a party to the service delivered. The information in each listing is the physiotherapist's own declaration. You should verify documents directly and agree the terms and payment with the physiotherapist yourself.

Is there a charge for posting a listing?

No — posting a listing is free for physiotherapists and no commission is taken. When you create a listing the details are first saved on your own device; to publish it we need to verify your documents (degree certificate and any certificates you hold). That is why at the end of the form you are asked to send your application by WhatsApp or as a file.

Which cities can I find a home physiotherapist in?

The listing system is open to all 81 provinces of Türkiye. Select your province in the city filter to list physiotherapists making home visits there. If there are no listings in your city yet, try "Online session" instead of "Home visit", or look at neighbouring provinces.

Legal notice: FizyoAnaliz is not a healthcare provider, does not deliver physiotherapy and is not a party to the relationship between advertisers and the people who engage them. The titles, education, documents and experience shown in listings are the advertiser's own declaration. Before engaging anyone, you are advised to verify their degree certificate directly. In an emergency, call 112.
